The gravity of sorrow, 2026
€350
A vessel with a long neck, bent under the weight of a cluster of beads gathered at its neck — gravity made visible, sorrow given a shape.
This piece was created in a moment of profound loss, when the weight of what was gone felt like something physical, something the body had to carry. Black stoneware felt like the only material that could hold that — its density and darkness mirroring the heaviness of what the piece is trying to say. The neck doesn't break. It bends, and keeps bending, the way grief asks you to carry something you can't set down.
