This piece explores the bonds that exist — and break — between two bodies. The tension that holds them together, and the space that separates them, reflects a contrast I return to again and again in my work. This piece was seriously testing the limits of a structure, a bond, a material. These vessels represent people, and the connections between them — some that last, some that don't. Some bodies break the link entirely while others leave it there, still hoping for reconnection.
