Bifröst, 2026
€500
Bifrost takes its name from Norse mythology — a burning bridge stretching between Earth and the realm of the gods.
A sculptural candlestick holder in black stoneware, made to hold two flames. Between them, an opening — a gap that lets light pass through the piece itself.
The two halves are heavily textured, each mark left deliberately. They speak to something I return to again and again in my work — the different aspects that can exist within a single body, the way strength and fragility, light and shadow, can sit side by side without cancelling each other out.
